Once tunnels to the relay have been established then an IRC client may be connected by configuring it with the following values.
Example IRC Configuration
Host: localhost (127.0.0.1)
Username: <ANY>
Password: <NONE>
Port: Assigned IRC port
HINT: The server also establishes a tunnel to the IRC server running on the relay. This can be leveraged to perform tasks like automatically posting the current status or output from tools running on the server.
The following example uses HexChat. Set desired user information and enter connection information.
